The Bloods have rebounded strongly from successive losses to record an 87 point win over previously undefeated Nunawading at Koornung Reserve on Saturday. Morello kicked 7 goals in an impressive display, while Luke Naughtin racked up possessions around the ground. The Reserves consolidated their position in the top four with a 10 point win, portly Dutchy Holland kicking 4 and Daniel Large adjudged best on ground.
150 YEARS OF FOOTBALL LUNCHEON
Warrandyte Football Club will be celebrating the 150 year anniversary of Aussie Rules on May 10th (this Saturday) with a luncheon and various activities at the club. Our opponent for the Round 5 clash is local rival Templestowe. Tickets are $30 per head and inclusive of a two course lunch, wine, beer and soft drink between 12 and 2pm.
